Gobo Salad Recipe

4 servings
Time: 20 minutes
-1/2 lb gobo
-1/2 carrot
-4 tbsp Japanese mayonnaise
-2 tbsp ground white sesame
-1 tsp vinegar
-2 tsp soy sauce
-3 tsp sugar
  1. Wash gobo and carrot with water and remove the skin
  2. Slice gobo and carrot into thin strips.
  3. Put the gobo in a sauce pan with 1 cup water and bring to a boil for 2 minutes
  4. Add carrot and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Strain gobo and carrot and let it cool on the side.
  6. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl
