Agedashi Tofu Recipe

Ingredients

-2 package of tofu (cut into 16 pieces)
-1/8 cup green onions (chopped)
-1/8 cup daikon (grated)
-1 cup dashi soup
-2 tbsp mirin
-2 tbsp soy sauce
-2 tbsp katakuriko (for tofu)
-2 tsp katakuriko mixed with 1 tbsp water (for sauce)
 
Preparation
  1. Put some katakuriko on tofu
  2. Heat oil in the frying pan then fry each side of tofu until desired brown colour
  3. Boil dashi, mirin, sake, soy sauce in a sauce pan, then add katakuriko (in water) and mix until it is sticky
  4. Serve tofu in a small plate or bowl and add sauce
  5. Add daikon and green onion to taste
